Quebec,
Canada
in
1970
under
the
name
of
Visualpak,
Ltd.
The
company
primarily
produced
blister
sealing
machinery.
In
1984
Visualpak,
Ltd.
merged
with
Thermoforming
S.p.A.
of
Milano,
Italy
and
was
renamed
Visual
Thermoforming
Ltd.
The
product
line
was
expanded
to
include
Skin
Packaging
Machinery,
Die
Cutting
machines
and
Thermoformers.
In
1997
the
name
was
changed
to
Visual
Packaging
Systems,
Inc.
to
better
reflect
the
range
of
products
being
manufactured.
In
2004
assets
and
rights
of
Visual
were
acquired
by
Visual
Packaging
Group
Inc.
Visual's
sister
company
Visual
Packaging
Group
LLC
took
over
the
production
and
sales
in
the
USA.
Today,
Visual
Packaging
Group,
Inc.
is
known
internationally
as
an
innovator
for
continually
developing
new
equipment
with
superior
automation
and
efficiency.
The
in-house
R&D
and
Product
Development
Departments
have
allowed
the
company
